Progress

from STEElworks to site

The building of 22 Ropemaker is progressing rapidly, and the vision of what we are creating here is becoming clearer with each day. We commissioned photographer Lee Mawdsley to capture the story of the building as it develops. The result is a set of unique photographs that chronicles the progress on site in London and at the specialist steel works in Scarborough.

William Hare is a family-owned steel works established in the 1880s, and a living piece of British manufacturing history.

The steel is making its way to London, where it is being erected up to level 25 of the building - all on track for completion in Q3 2023.
